LaRussa
Brand Identity / Collateral
The Challenge
LARUSSA designs and installs the latest technology for high-end homes. The clients are homeowners, architects and interior designers who expect the same care in a brand as in a finished room. LARUSSA needed an identity that felt as quiet and precise as the work: premium without being flashy, and technical without looking cold.
We had designed the past identity for the client over 10 years ago which still looked but the client wanted to reposition the company as a national brand. And to go national you need an identity that is scalable and flexible while conveying trust and being a design centric comapny.
Our Approach
We built the brand around one idea: technology should feel like part of the architecture. The LARUSSA mark is an open square frame around a bold "L". The frame reads as a room, a wall panel or a screen, and its open corners suggest a space that is lived in rather than boxed in. The wordmark uses wide, evenly spaced capitals that echo the clean lines of modern interiors.
The Logo System
We designed three lockups so the brand works at every size and on every surface:
-
Vertical lockup: the mark stacked above the LARUSSA wordmark, for signage, covers and packaging.
-
Horizontal lockup: the mark beside the wordmark, for websites, letterhead and vehicle graphics.
-
Standalone mark: the framed "L" alone, for app icons, social avatars and small spaces.
Both lockups carry the tagline "Luxury Home Technology." At small sizes the tagline is dropped so the logo stays legible.
Collateral
We extended the identity across print and digital:
-
Business cards with a matte foil-stamped Champagne mark on Midnight
-
Letterhead and stationery
-
Website header and digital brand assets
-
App icons and social media avatars
LARUSSA now has a complete, consistent brand system with a logo, palette, usage rules, collateral and signage that work seamlessly together and ready for explosive growth.
